Oksar was the first to point out the beautiful crescent moon watching over our city streets tonight... I tried to capture a couple of decent photos with the tripod and remote
Playing with trains... hear a "garbage truck!" outside... push a chair to the door and unlock the screen, even with the rubber bands we applied to the hook... go outside in order to "go see!!!"
Yes. The boy loves garbage trucks to death right now. :D
“I like it! ... I like it, Daddy!”
:)
...in Mommy's shoes. Who doesn't like playing the adult as a toddler?!
Sorry for the cruddy iPhone photo. New iPhone model due out in 7 days.
A few stills from the last video...
Learning about chopsticks. It's hard. Daddy's rubber-band-and-rolled-paper trick (reuse the paper wrapper from the chopsticks, man) helps!
(psst... click, the link if the video doesn't show on your mobile device!)
On Saturday mornings, we've been going to Soccertots for a couple of months, but that's over now so we like to have a lazy breakfast, roll around with the dog for a bit, and then walk to famous Ferry Building Farmer's Market.
Since the America's Cup came to town, we also got a demolisher rotten old pier (thanks SF Port Authority you untouchable losers) and a new waterfront park, which we explored yesterday...
Boats Daddy! The boats... in the water!
The big black rings on these tidal columns tell you how far above Mean Lower Low Water the current tide is...
Then we finally reach the Markets and buy pasture-raised eggs, mustard greens, empanadas argentinas and bombolinis :D
This morning at breakfast Oskar decided he really likes Vegemite toast dipped in hot frothed milk. Yeah, go figure, but it made for some happy happy cute faces :D
Give me a smile, Oskar! ... LOLOLOL
With the dog, as usual. She was nonplussed by the presence of ranch dressing crisps in her bed :-/
Also the car elevator Grandma bought made an appearance :)
Things are getting back to normal here in SF, since returning after the last month's ups and downs. Last week Oskar and Daddy went to a local sushi place to pick up dinner. Whilst we were waiting, we entertained ourselves with a toast to Grandpa (well I did, anyway) and some edamame – the first time Oskar's shelled and extracted the beans for himself successfully :-0
