Our first Halloween trick or treat hunting... in Noe Valley with friends.
The night after Halloween, the Candy Witch comes and steals any candy left! But she leaves behind awesome construction site toys :)
... and has gotten quite a few Big Brother™ presents. Here's one from Grandma. He also received a fantastic garbage truck from Uncle Anthony and Auntie Laure, which he hasn't really stopped playing with :)))
None of it's really helped with the jealousy thing, nor has being sick helped him, but we'll get through all that. For now, the toys!

Finlay experiencing his first farmer's market, via the back of his eyelids :))) We had some grilled meats on Vietnamese sandwiches for lunch, enjoyed the rather hot (by SF standards) sunshine and bought mushrooms for a pasta dinner... – he slumbered on through the lot and for all he knows wasn't even out of the house
A gigantic die appeared in Huffaker Park, across Mission Creek from us by our neighbouring houseboat community. We later found another one all the way at the other end of the Park so this post could be called "Dice!" but I thought "Die!" was more eye-catching ;)
And a champion sleeper and eater. Finlay is an easy newborn. So far.
His Doctor is suitably impressed, so aside from moments of raging jealousy from the toddler, and relentless sand-in-eyeballs tiredness from the parents, we're all doing great.
